Financial Analyst Join our dynamic finance team as a Financial Analyst, where you will play a vital role in supporting our company's financial planning and analysis efforts. Coordinate and manage monthly and annual financial closings to ensure accuracy and timeliness Prepare detailed monthly forecasts and financial projections Develop and maintain analytical schedules to support management decision-making Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data Assist in identifying financial trends and providing insights to improve business performance Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting - CPA (preferred) 1-2 years' experience as a Financial Analyst is preferred. Familiarity with manufacturing environments and ERP systems (knowledge of Visual Manufacturing is a BIG plus). Five years of professional experience in a financial management role Knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint (skill level - intermediate) Requirements
Candidates must be able to work onsite at our Plainview, NY facility. Remote work is not an option. Assist with budget and forecasting processes inclusive of monthly rolling forecasts, annual budgets, 5YR plan, etc. Ability to develop financial models and prepare projections Assists with monthly closing activities (calendars, checklists, system journal postings, journal entries, etc.) Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports Financial statement analysis and key account reconciliation Ability to drive process changes and simplify repetitive reporting activities through automation Ability to read, interpret and implement changes in U.S. GAAP ensuring all accounting practices are in compliance with legal guidelines and established accounting principles Working knowledge of ERP systems and intermediate MS Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas) Ability to backup supporting functions such as accounts receivable and accounts payable, as required Physical Requirements
