The Sr. Analyst, Replenishment will drive replenishment initiatives with the MHUSA distributors. By implementing a proactive and seamless ordering process, you will maximize MHUSA sales and Distributor’s depletions, proactively calculate and optimize Distributor needs, and create a collaborative ordering process.
Office/Location: Hybrid 3x a week based out of NYC Office
Job Responsibilities
Profile | Key Accountabilities
Proactively suggest purchase orders to distributors based on MHUSA priorities (maximize depletions, maintain stable DOI at distributors, right items in stock, …). Calculate the distributors needs based on key parameters (forecast, lead-time, safety stock). Lead collaborative meetings with distributor and MH market lead to adjust changing needs. Anticipate key supply and business priorities such as pre-PI or landing. Ensure smooth SKU transition execution (vintage change, new labels…). Reserve stock in SAP to ensure availability for distributor. Work on the optimization of transportation via direct load based on correct sourcing, weight, and value. Animate proactive weekly meetings to review entire process and ensure smooth execution. Monitor PO processing until delivery to distributor. Optimize route to market for all orders; evaluate and implement efficiencies pertaining to sourcing (warehouse vs. direct import) and order exceptions (out of stock, delivery blocks, allocation issues, credit holds, etc.). Analysis and execution of agility movement to maximize depletions in a context of unbalanced supply
Continuous Improvement
In partnership with the Project team and replenishment manager, lead the replenishment transformation by optimizing and implementing new tool and processes.
Drive adoption
Adjust the tools and requirements based on each distributor specificities. Constantly review replenishment parameters to adjust to business needs. Be a driver of change within Operations by constantly putting replenishment needs forefront of any improvement initiatives. Identify area of improvement and drive them in collaboration with replenishment manager. Assist replenishment manager into testing of new processes and refresh of Pos due to update of pricing or transfer price.
Communication
Serve as single point of contact on customer service for distributor and commercial team (understanding and troubleshooting distribution issues). Drive open and regular communication with distributors to continually review order status, open allocations, VAP status, supply and logistics constraints, sales goals, etc.
Additional Information
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, Business Analytics and or Business Management
Practical/Technical Knowledge
Minimum of 3 + years in demand planning, inventory management and or supply chain analytics Strong understanding of supply chain mechanics, preferably with knowledge of importing/distribution in the U.S. Strong systems knowledge and acumen, including Excel, SAP, data reporting systems and planning tools (Anaplan) Experience in Operations or Supply Chain Experience working closely with distributors / customers in a B2B environment Wines and spirits 3-tier system experience preferred
