Fast growing alternative asset manager seeking cross platform strategy associate Company Information:
An industry-leading investment management firm based in New York with over $20+ billion in AUM. Job Description:
Analyze new investment opportunities and inbound deal flow, including sourcing, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring. Create thoughtful presentation materials for both internal discussions and external stakeholders, incorporating market research and strategic insights. Provide flexible support across a range of deals and special projects as needed. Oversee relationships with external advisors, vendors, and diligence partners throughout the deal process. Build and maintain detailed financial models, incorporating forecasts, capital structures, and scenario analysis. Contribute to business development efforts by preparing supporting materials and market analyses. Work closely with corporate strategy, development, and investment teams on day-to-day tasks and ongoing initiatives. Requirements / Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in financial services, ideally with a background in investment banking or alternative investments. Skilled in financial modeling and comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical mindset with a practical approach to solving complex problems. Meticulous with details and able to work both independently and with minimal supervision. Motivated, curious, and proactive in contributing to team goals and continuous learning. Capable of juggling multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong working relationships. Proven commitment to high standards of professionalism and alignment with core values such as integrity, collaboration, respect, and accountability.
