Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions. Assist in monitoring project-specific expenditures and billings. Assist in maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Assist in other reporting for management Track expenses related to fiber construction projects, ensuring they are recorded accurately. Assist in creating and maintaining project-specific financial documentation. Assist in any payroll-related work, such as state registration and handling notices from the states. Assist in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to construction accounting. Support audit processes by preparing required documentation and reports. Help maintain accurate records of inventory, equipment, and other assets related to fiber construction. Perform various administrative and financial duties as assigned by senior accounting staff. Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes. Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or telecommunications industry (internships count). Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools. Ability to work under supervision and manage time efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Eagerness to learn and grow within the company. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
