Position Overview
The Finance Manager for our non-profit Waldorf School plays a crucial role in managing the school's financial operations, ensuring transparency, and supporting strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include: Overseeing audits Preparing financial reports Managing the annual budget Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards Close collaboration with the Board, Executive Administrator, and staff to provide timely financial guidance Administering payroll and supporting contract management The Finance Manager ensures the school’s financial health aligns with its mission and values. Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) 5+ years of financial management experience, ideally in non-profits Expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting Skilled in payroll management and compliance with labor laws Proficient in accounting software and data analysis Strong communication and organizational abilities to manage priorities Commitment to the Waldorf School's mission and values, with adaptability to change and process improvements Flexible hours Application Process
