Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Construction Bookkeeper

to manage all financial transactions and records for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction accounting, job cost tracking, and project-based financial reporting. Key Responsibilities

Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including vendor invoices, payments, receipts, and payroll Track project expenses, budgets, and job cost codes to ensure accurate financial reporting Prepare progress billings, lien waivers, and subcontractor payments Maintain general ledger and reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts Process payroll, including certified payroll when required Assist with month-end and year-end closings, audits, and tax preparation Generate project profitability and cash flow reports for management review Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and state/federal regulations Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry Proficiency with accounting software’s. Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, including AIA billing and job costing Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management tools Full-time position Reports to: Controller Collaborative team environment with field and office staff To apply, submit resume to jd@libertyjobs.com Joseph P.
