Overview
Consulting Member Technical Staff (JoinOCI-SDE) at Oracle. Responsibilities
Create and maintain highly available APIs for launching and managing Compute resources. Design and implement highly scalable systems across multiple regions in a worldwide cloud footprint. Build systems for orchestrating large-scale fleet management actions. Contribute to the evolution of standard practices and procedures within the software engineering division. Define specifications for significant new projects and design, develop, and debug software applications or operating systems. Qualifications
10+ years of experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems. Strong knowledge of Java and experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl. Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms. Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence. Preferred Qualifications
Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP), standard network architectures, and Linux fundamentals. Experience leading architecture and design of distributed systems within large-scale environments. Disclaimer
