Alloy Silverstein, a regional public accounting firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, and financial tasks for clients in various industries. Bookkeeper responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling G/L accounts. You will also run accounting software programs (QuickBooks and/or Xero) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, and disbursements.
This open position is currently for an in-office, in-person role at our Cherry Hill, NJ office location.
Requirements
Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk or Accounts payable clerk Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software Proficiency in QuickBooks and or Xero; Minimum 2-3 years experience Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports Accuracy and attention to detail Aptitude for numbers Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks Well organized 2-5 years of Accounting/Bookkeeping experience preferred Salary Range
