The Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing month-end close, reviewing journal entries, financial reporting, assisting with the audit, and maintaining internal controls. To be successful in this role, the Assistant Controller will need to be detail-oriented, have great communication skills, and be a demonstrated people manager. What do you need for this Assistant Controller role? Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field 10+ years of accounting experience MUST have supervisory experience Must have industry aligned (CPG, manufacturing, retail) or inventory experience CPA a plus not a must have What will you do in this Assistant Controller role? Oversee AP, prepaids, fixed assets, taxes, and the general ledger Review policies, procedures, and systems and suggest process improvements Prepare financial statements Support the annual financial statement audit Oversee staff
