Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Accounts Payable Specialist
for a
temporary role
within a construction-focused organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in
AP functions, QuickBooks, and construction industry accounting practices . This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for accuracy and compliance. Enter and maintain accurate records in
QuickBooks . Reconcile AP accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wires). Communicate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. Assist with month-end close and support reporting requirements. Qualifications
2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within the
construction industry . Proficiency in
QuickBooks
is required. Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
