The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of Azure solutions, including Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus, managing APIs, and developing applications in C#. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services and a passion for continuous improvement in a dynamic environment. What You'll Do Development of Azure solutions, focusing on Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus. Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code in C#. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Assist in the development and management of APIs and data exchange formats. Ensure best practices for security, scalability, and reliability are followed. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise. Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation. Operate within Agile, Scrum, or SAFe frameworks to support iterative development and ensure alignment with evolving business needs. Technical understanding across all of Mission’s core systems, ensuring systems are efficient, compliant, and accurate. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the team remains innovative and competitive. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred). 3+ years of experience as a developer, with a strong focus on Azure development. Strong understanding of REST APIs, Webhooks, and JSON for data interchange. Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment strategies. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). Solid grasp of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualification Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure DevOps, and Azure Cosmos DB. Certifications in relevant technologies or platforms. Experience with modular and microservice based architecture. Knowledge and/or experience with Property & Casualty insurance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Extensive experience with Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus. Strong knowledge of API management and related tools. Proficiency in C# and .NET framework. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills and strong knowledge of P&C insurance. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Passion for technology and continuous learning. Ability to work effectively in independent and group environments. Additional Information This is a remote position. Planned, in-office activities may be required on occasion (typically 2-4x per year).
