Position Overview The Architect will support the architectural team in design and execution of a wide range of projects, providing hands‑on experience in design, documentation, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development of architectural design concepts, drawings, and presentation materials.

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and construction documents using Revit and other design software.

Participate in project design meetings, refining design ideas and ensuring alignment with client goals.

Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and clients to ensure effective communication and seamless project execution.

Assist in preparing design presentations and reports for municipal clients, private developers, and stakeholders.

Respond to client inquiries and manage relationships to ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Draft and organize project documentation, including drawings, technical specifications, and permitting documents.

Coordinate zoning, permitting, and code compliance, ensuring projects meet local regulations and requirements.

Support sustainable design efforts, incorporating energy‑efficient solutions and materials.

Engage in mentoring and development opportunities to expand knowledge of architecture and local regulations.

Engage in continuing education, professional certifications, and industry events to enhance professional growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

2-5 years of post‑licensure professional experience in architecture, preferably working with municipal clients and private sector developers.

Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and other design and drafting software.

Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and municipal regulations.

Familiarity with construction documentation, specifications, and project coordination.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.

Passion for design and eagerness to grow in architecture.

Preferred: Experience on municipal, residential, commercial, or mixed‑use projects.

Preferred: LEED Green Associate or other sustainability certifications.

Preferred: Knowledge of site analysis and environmental considerations in design.
