Description Data Engineer position with Leidos in the National Security Sector, Honolulu, HI. Primary location is Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii. Other possible locations: Denver, CO; Minneapolis, MN; and Ft. Worth, TX. The role supports the INDOPACOM J2 JIOC mission, providing direct intelligence support to all forces assigned to the USINDOPACOM commander. Responsibilities

Conduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis to transform data into narrative products for informed decision-making.

Build AI and ML-based tools to automate processes, such as recommendation engines and lead scoring systems.

Design and operate data management systems, collaborating with data users to optimize architectures and systems.

Select and configure backend database technologies and optimize data pipeline infrastructure for intelligence needs.

Implement automated processes for integrating various datasets, conduct scalable data research, and develop scripts to handle data efficiently.

Collaborate with collection managers and computer scientists to design new data processes and generate algorithms for automated collection strategies.

Evaluate collection criteria and recommend data integration solutions to support the Tasking, Collection, Production, Exploitation, and Dissemination process.

Participate in briefings, meetings, conferences, and working groups to provide advice and resolve issues as requested by the Government.

Clearance

Current TS/SCI Clearance.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education

Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 10+ years of relevant experience (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education

A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Prior experience with large data Multi-INT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics.

Proficiency in data visualization and graphical applications, including Microsoft Office (Power BI) and Tableau.

Experience with major data science languages, such as R and Python.

Ability to manage and merge disparate data sources using R, Python, or SQL.

Experience supporting USINDOPACOM.

$104,650.00 - $189,175.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
