$65,000.00/hr - $75,000.00/hr Location: Waipahu, HI, 96797 Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Hilo, HI. The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the logistics process, including distribution, merchandising, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and people skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing logistics operations. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods to customers Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping and proper ordering Supervise and train logistics team members (drivers/merchandisers) Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operations Achieves optimization and care of all distribution and fleet assets ensuring proper maintenance Requirements:
High School diploma or relevant experience; Bachelor's degree preferred Proven experience in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of logistics processes and best practices; DSD (Direct Store Delivery) preferred Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Flexible and adaptable Benefits:
