PEPI: Senior Associate, CFO Services — Digital Finance (OPEN TO ALL US LOCATIONS) at Alvarez & Marsal (A&M). PEPI CFO Services focuses on Digital Finance offerings to help private equity portfolio companies improve cash generation, EBITDA, and financial transparency through hands-on operational involvement. Responsibilities
Digital Finance Transformation: drive transformation initiatives, implement digital finance tools, and improve efficiency and transparency within finance and accounting functions. Assess Finance & Accounting functions and apply digital technologies to enhance performance. Finance process improvement and automation; build predictive forecasting and data-driven insights to support decision making. Develop hypothesis, scope, and analyses with clients; lead data gathering, interviews, and data quality checks; translate analyses into actionable recommendations. Project Management and Implementation: lead components of projects with multiple service lines; manage smaller projects independently; develop actionable plans and lead workstreams; manage client expectations and risks. Design cash-generating initiatives, EBITDA improvements, and optimal organizational structures to increase client value. Engage with senior management and secure buy-in from board-level stakeholders for actionable plans; anticipate risks and develop contingency plans. Prepare client-ready deliverables, including financial models (three-statement forecasts, liquidity forecasting) and presentations. Team collaboration: promote a team environment, share knowledge, and provide coaching to teammates. Financial acumen: build various financial models and provide insightful analyses; understand impacts on profit and balance sheet from key operating levers. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited 4-year college/university; concentration in accounting, finance, or economics preferred but not required. Experience in at least two of: RPA, Predictive Forecasting, Finance Analytics, NLG, data visualization. 3–7 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking, or Private Equity. Proficiency in understanding financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills. CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s Degree preferred but not required. The salary range is $100,000–$160,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography. A discretionary bonus program is offered based on individual and firm performance.
