The closing date is 26 October 2025 DSFS Ltd are looking to recruit into the position of Management Accountant - Financial Intelligence, providing support to DSFS. A key member of the finance team with responsibility to develop, maintain, and support the Trust's Costing Processes and the Costing System, working closely with the Informatics department, Divisions & other Finance Teams to produce accurate information in a variety of formats. Main duties of the job

Provide leadership to the wider finance function including a proactive approach. Work with divisions to gain an understanding of divisional costs, services provided and activity recording systems, in order to aid the accurate costing of patient care delivered by the Trust Work with divisional colleagues to review assumptions and apportionments in the costing system and investigate areas of weakness in order to improve the accuracy of local cost reporting and national cost submissions. Contribute to the understanding by divisional staff, of the Trust's costing process, the importance of accurate and timely inputs, and the benefits and use of the costing outputs in Benchmarking services, Business Cases, Service Redesign, Transformation, and other operational and strategic organisational decision making. Provision of costing advice and response to queries and ad-hoc requests for costing information in a timely and professional manner. About us

Qualifications and Training

Qualified Accountant or significant relevant accounting experience Significant experience in a financial management role. Evidence of on-going professional or personal development; e.g. Continuing Professional Development Degree or Masters Evidence of leadership development Experience

Experience at a senior level in a complex financial environment. Management Accounting Experience. Experience of working effectively in a team Track record of financial and non-financial achievements NHS provider or commissioner experience Experience of working with a Patient Level Information Costing System. NHS Contracting experience. Skills and Knowledge
