We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Senior Project Manager
to play a pivotal role in the implementation of a cutting-edge
Electronic Patient Record (EPR)
system across
Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
and
University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust , as part of the wider
Joined-Up Care Derbyshire ICS .
Recruitment of this EPR Senior Project Manager role is managed by
Derbyshire Support & Facilities Services Ltd (DSFS) , proud to support the DDC's digital ambitions.
Main duties of the job
This is a key leadership role within an ambitious clinical transformation programme that will revolutionise how care is delivered across our region. You will lead both clinical and non-clinical workstreams, ensuring projects are scoped, planned, and delivered effectively in line with PRINCE2 methodology .
This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills to deliver high-impact digital transformation across Chesterfield Royal Hospital and University Hospitals of Derby and Burton.
Manage multiple Trust-wide projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
Lead a team of 3-10 staff, providing clear direction and support
Drive alignment with strategic and operational goals
Work across organisational boundaries to ensure seamless collaboration and communication
Producing high-quality project documentation (e.g., PID, plans, reports) in line with PRINCE2.
Managing and supporting a team of Project Coordinators and third-party suppliers.
Building strong relationships across departments and ensuring stakeholder engagement at all stages.
Supporting organisational readiness and risk management, including acting as Risk Lead.
Ensuring controlled project closure and transition to business as usual.
