At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence. We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go. Join EY and help to build a better working world. Private Equity Tax Operations Manager - Portfolio Companies EY is a leader in serving the global financial services marketplace and the only professional services firm with a separate business unit dedicated to the financial services industry — the Financial Services Organization (FSO). Our focused model and bold ambition place us at the center of events that reshape and redefine our industry, working with clients from venerable institutions to dynamic entrants across Banking and Capital Markets, Wealth and Asset Management, Insurance, Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction. Our purpose is to help build a financial services industry in which financial institutions are trusted and flourish, and the global economy is healthy, growing and secure. If you have a passion for rallying together to solve complex challenges, join our dynamic FSO team. As private equity investments in portfolio companies close, our clients transition from deal to implementing operations plans to drive value, with tax as a key component. In this role you will be immersed in the evolving tax environment, collaborating with global private equity professionals to develop and oversee post-transaction tax operating plans, prepare income tax filings, prepare and audit income tax provisions, consult on planning opportunities, and coach and develop engagement teams while working on globally active entities. The opportunity
The Private Equity Tax Operations Manager role involves dynamic tax work and visibility into the full life cycle of private equity-backed companies across industries and entity structures (e.g., corporate, partnership, domestic, foreign). In addition to day-to-day US federal and state tax compliance, you will engage with transaction advisory, accounting methods, state and local tax, credits and incentives, and international tax. You will be part of a growing global team, acting as a key contact for a wide range of clients and colleagues. This role offers cross-border and cross-functional collaboration within EY. In return, you can expect substantial support designed with your skills and experience in mind. EY is a dynamic place to develop not only technical tax knowledge but also professional leadership and business acumen. Our market-leading approach combines extensive local compliance and accounting experience in over 120 countries with standard global compliance and tax accounting processes and web-based tools. Your key responsibilities
