About the Role
Class II medical device company based in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Contractor to lead a rapid deployment of a new ERP system. This is a 6-week contract with the potential for temp-to-hire, offering the opportunity to make a high-impact contribution in a regulated and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have deep ERP expertise in regulated industries, especially medical devices, and a strong track record of completing full-cycle ERP implementations within tight timelines. Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle ERP implementation - from configuration to go-live - within 6 weeks. Configure and deploy core ERP modules, including: Item master, BOMs, routings, and revision control Purchasing and supplier management with ISO 13485 traceability Inventory and lot/serial tracking; device history records (DHRs) Sales orders, fulfillment, invoicing Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, and cost accounting) Migrate and validate legacy data (suppliers, materials, BOMs, inventory, financials) Integrate ERP with quality and regulatory systems (CAPA, change control) Develop custom reports and dashboards (OTIF, inventory turns, supplier performance, COGS) Deliver user training and complete SOP/playbook documentation Ensure compliance with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and EU MDR Deliverables
By the end of the engagement, the ERP system should: be fully configured with validated master data; support end-to-end workflows from procurement to fulfillment; generate required compliance documentation (DHRs, UDI, traceability); provide actionable financial and operational reporting; include training and SOP documentation for end users. Qualifications
Required: 8+ years of ERP implementation experience 3+ years working in medical device, biotech, or other regulated hardware industries Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 11/820 Proven success completing ERP implementations in ≤3 months Hands-on experience with major ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft D365) Experience with system validation, data migration, and QMS/PLM integrations Excellent documentation and project management skills Immediate availability and ability to commit to a focused 6-week engagement Preferred: Experience implementing ERP at startups or scaling medtech companies Familiarity with sterile supply chain and clinical kit fulfillment APICS, CSCP, or ERP vendor certifications Location & Schedule
