Construction Project Management Analyst – Graduate Development Program
Turner & Townsend is an independent professional services company specializing in programme management, project management, cost management and consulting across the property, infrastructure and natural resources sectors. Overview The Turner & Townsend Graduate Development Program provides recent graduates (less than two years of industry experience) opportunities to develop their careers and gain exposure to the services in which we specialize, with the aim of becoming a successful consultant upon graduation. The program is designed to take approximately 2 years and offers experience based on achievement of various competencies in each core service. The program is offered at our Phoenix, AZ location. Responsibilities
As a Project Management Analyst, play a key role in managing construction and infrastructure projects from concept to completion. Work with clients and teams to control scope, schedule, cost, and quality to ensure successful delivery. Assist the Project Manager in ensuring the project is managed to the right quality standards and completed efficiently and on time. Manage individual tasks throughout the construction process including submittal and RFI processes. Assist with the preparation of proposals for new projects or variations to existing projects. Assist with establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout the project. Ensure that key information and data are effectively shared and appropriately retained. Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and team members. Interface with multiple stakeholders, including executive management, project team members, consultants and vendors. Assist with the flow of project information between team members and stakeholders. Attend relevant meetings, update and maintain current issues/actions logs. Transcribe meeting minutes and action items and drive each item to closure. Develop detailed project plans, attend status meetings and follow up on completion status and close-out open items. Contribute monthly reporting on various aspects of the Client's program and prepare reports for multiple audiences (e.g., formal project management reports, executive dashboards). Handle daily tasks including submittal approval management, RFI processing, change order management, meeting coordination, punch-list management, and administration of project observation reports and transition of close-out documentation to operations. Assist with procurement of suppliers/resources as required. Monitor and assist with applying performance management techniques and project cost tracking/EVM systems. Liaise with the client’s finance team to obtain information and report on finance/cost data. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role where applicable. Qualifications
