Base salary: $120,000 – $155,000 with bonus + equity incentive opportunities Location: New York, New York, United States The Investment Associate will join a high-performing and rapidly growing investment platform with nearly $15 billion in assets under management, dedicated to advancing large-scale renewable energy and energy storage. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with strong financial expertise and project finance experience to step into a high-impact role. As an Investment Associate, you’ll take ownership in structuring, executing, and managing investments in utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable energy. Key Responsibilities: Build and manage financial models, evaluate project risks, and support the structuring and negotiation of debt and equity investments. Review and analyze project agreements, contracts, and documentation to ensure alignment with financial and operational goals. Partner with investment, accounting, and technical teams to develop assumptions and strategies that maximize portfolio performance. Work with risk and asset management teams to monitor ongoing investments and provide insights that guide commercial decisions. Assist with financing processes for project-level transactions, including investor engagement and financial model ownership. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of finance experience in renewable energy, investment banking, consulting, or related sectors. Strong financial modeling skills in Excel, with hands-on experience in structuring complex transactions. Familiarity with tax equity, project finance, or structured debt/equity investments.
