Axiom Wealth Strategies exists to empower individuals and their families to build ‘true wealth’ in the broadest definition of the term. We meet folks where they are and listen, with a desire to hear them. We work with many young families, widows/widowers, and those planning for retirement. We are fee-only and exclusively work as a fiduciary to our clients. We are team based. We believe that in all things Christ preeminent because at the end of our lives there is only one thing truly worth planning for.
Overview
Axiom Wealth Strategies was founded in 2021 by Neal Richards because of the rapid growth of his practice at a small independent RIA firm. Axiom is Small and nimble with 4 employees. We provide planning services (MoneyGuide) and asset management through LPL Financial. Our core values are Curiosity, Courage, Truthfulness, and living in a way that embraces the idea that “wealth is in wisdom,” alone. Axiom is expected to continue to grow rapidly, which will require the implementation of new technologies and services quickly. The goal is to be a trusted and valuable resource to our neighbors, our community, and to humanity at large. Learn every aspect of the Financial Planning Profession and begin solving problems, as a team, for clients right away. The ideal candidate would be CFP certified and familiar with working in a team structure. They would have excellent communication skills and would operate well independently. They would have the heart of a teacher and be eager to learn something new every day. A passive approach to investing preferred, but not necessary. The ideal candidate would be interested in becoming a senior advisor focusing on Financial Planning. No pipeline prospecting required. Following up on potential clients is required. This position offers the potential to quickly work up to the lead advisor position. Learn the Axiom way 0-12 months. Zero Prospecting. Begin leading meetings 12-36 months. Lead your own team once client volume and AUM thresholds are met. Responsibilities
Client Planning & Support Assist Advisors in understanding and supporting their clients’ financial goals Develop and implement customized financial plans, including retirement planning, estate planning, tax strategies, investment strategies, and budgeting Prepare investment reviews and personalized meeting materials for advisors and their clients Use planning software (e.g., MoneyGuidePro, Nitrogen, Morningstar Advisor Workstation, Holistiplan and many others) to create and maintain financial scenarios and reports Ensure all financial plans remain current and responsive to client needs Research, teach, and analyze financial planning topics as needed Help design, implement, and maintain model portfolios across all client accounts Assign appropriate investment models to client portfolios and document changes with detailed notes Monitor client portfolios regularly and alert Lead Advisors to any deviations from model targets or significant performance issues Work with Lead Advisors and clients on non-qualified account management for tax loss/gain harvesting Assist with rebalancing activities, including data entry, documentation, and communication with operations staff Coordinate with custodians or trading platforms to ensure accuracy in portfolio implementation Maintain awareness of market trends and their potential impact on model portfolios Support investment committee work by gathering data, running reports, and participating in discussions as requested Operational & Compliance Tasks Enter and track tasks in Redtail CRM; maintain accurate and timely follow-ups Complete Smart RIA compliance tasks within 30 days of assignment. Assign and manage workflows and service tasks related to compliance and client service Report any written client complaints promptly and appropriately Team & Culture Engagement Actively participate in team meetings—be professional, punctual, and prepared Delegate tasks to support staff as needed and follow through on assigned responsibilities Maintain conduct that reflects the firm’s core values – courage, curiosity, truth, and wisdom At Axiom Wealth Strategies we believe that True Wealth is found in Christ alone Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Timely completion of investment reviews and service tasks Accuracy and preparedness of meeting deliverables Ongoing contribution to firm growth and client retention Qualifications: Must have series 66 or 65 license or CFP, CFA designation or have ability to pass relevant exam within 3 months. Desired Skills: Highly organized. Works well independently. Excellent communicator, with the heart of a teacher. Compensation: Compensation dependent on experience and qualifications.
