Assistant Controller
to join its finance leadership team in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
As
Assistant Controller , you will work closely with the Controller and CFO to enhance financial reporting, optimize processes, and contribute to advancing the company’s growth strategy. This role is best suited for a hands-on accounting leader with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership — someone who thrives on taking initiative, driving projects to completion, and delivering results.
Responsibilities
Partner with the Controller and CFO to improve financial reporting and controls.
Lead process improvements in accounting close, consolidation, and ERP system utilization.
Drive special projects aligned with rapid growth and strategic initiatives with a hands-on, results‑oriented approach.
Provide leadership to the accounting team; ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP.
Qualifications
Approximately seven years of experience total, including five years in public accounting and at least two in industry.
CPA designation is strongly preferred.
Experience operating in a dynamic private equity environment where accountability, speed, and execution matter.
Strong proactive mindset, ownership, and ability to drive projects to completion.
