The Assistant Vice President, Wealth Management Program Manager, is responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and success of the credit union’s Wealth Management program. This includes overseeing financial advisors, driving growth, enhancing member engagement, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The AVP will develop strategies to expand market reach, improve efficiency, and increase member access to financial services. Key responsibilities include cultivating a high-performing advisory team, developing referral partnerships, and aligning the program with the credit union’s broader financial strategy. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Business Growth:

Develop strategies to grow the program, expand services, and increase member engagement. Collaborate with internal teams to raise awareness and ensure efficient operations. Advisor Management & Development:

Oversee and mentor a team of financial advisors, ensuring strong sales performance and adherence to standards. Recruit, train, and set performance benchmarks. Member Experience & Business Development:

Strengthen referral partnerships, increase marketing efforts, and emphasize personalized, fiduciary services. Compliance & Operational Oversight:

Ensure adherence to FINRA, SEC, and broker-dealer regulations. Oversee reporting, audits, and operational processes to maintain compliance and efficiency. Additional Duties:

Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned. Knowledge and Skills:

Experience:

Minimum of 7-10 years in wealth management, investment services, or financial advising, with at least 3 years in leadership or program management. Strong leadership and business development experience in a financial setting. Education, Certifications, Licenses:

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business, Finance, or related field. Valid Series 7 license required. Candidates registered after October 1, 2018, must also have an active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam. Series 66 (or Series 63/65) and Life and Health Insurance licenses must be obtained within 60 days of employment. CFP certification is preferred but not required. All licenses must be maintained with ongoing education. Interpersonal Skills:

Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and external partners. Knowledge of investment products, financial planning, compliance, and economics. Analytical skills, proficiency in PC software, and ability to operate office equipment. Willingness to travel for market expansion and industry events. Additional Information:
