Overview
Coda Search has been engaged by a premier alternative asset management firm with over $100BN in assets under management to identify an Associate for their CLO Operations team. This is a high-impact middle office role where you’ll gain hands-on exposure to complex credit strategies and structured products, while working alongside investment, operations, and external counterparties. This position offers visibility across the platform, from supporting portfolio reporting and trade activity to contributing to process enhancements that strengthen the firm’s credit operations. Location: New York City Metropolitan Area. This is a full-time role with base pay range disclosed below. Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Serve as a central point of contact between internal teams, trustees, agents, and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate trade lifecycle management and compliance with CLO reporting requirements. Reconcile daily positions and cash activity across internal systems and trustee reports, supporting accurate compliance monitoring and investor reporting. Review and analyze monthly trustee reporting packages, including cash flow waterfalls, payment date reports, and coverage/compliance tests, flagging exceptions and preparing investor-ready summaries. Partner with analysts and accounting teams on corporate actions, restructurings, and other loan events, assessing compliance implications and ensuring proper investor disclosures. Maintain ratings databases and track changes from agencies such as Moody’s and S&P, providing updates that impact CLO investor communications and covenant reporting. Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen compliance monitoring, streamline trustee/investor reporting, and enhance automation in reporting workflows. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline. 3+ years of experience in operations or middle office within credit, leveraged loans, or structured products. Familiarity with CLO structures and bank loan products strongly preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Excel; experience with systems such as CDO Suite or Geneva is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment. Employment type
