Job Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Analyze balance sheet accounts and document variance explanations across reporting periods.
Collaborate with operations and AP teams to ensure proper expense coding and financial accuracy.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including preparation of financial reports and commentary.
Assist with audits, fixed asset reviews, and cross-functional projects to improve accounting operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a similar discipline.
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced accounting environment.
Strong understanding of GAAP and core financial concepts such as reconciliations and forecasting.
Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus.
Qualifications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
Effective communicator with the ability to explain financial data clearly to various stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience developing policies, procedures, and leading process improvement initiatives.
Professional demeanor with sound judgment and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
