Overview
Principal or Senior Principal Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst - R10182288 at Northrop Grumman. Location onsite in Melbourne, FL or Palmdale, CA. Active secret clearance required to start. Relocation assistance may be available. Travel: 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements.
Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance measurement baseline concepts to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering IPT. Lead and train analysts as needed for full level 1 EVM contracts.
Establish and maintain Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled; assess and maintain objective performance criteria; develop, maintain, analyze, and justify estimates to complete.
Support internal and external reporting for variance analysis and budgeting baseline; maintain cost and schedule integration with partners and program teams.
Analyze funding, cost risk, and visibility reports; prepare government cost performance reports; prepare and/or review Performance measurement variance analysis.
Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines. Coordinate monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and reporting processes. Provide internal reporting requirements including forecast incorporation, staffing issue identification related to baseline/ETC, and execution of corrective actions using program reporting tools. Interface with Business Managers and support booking rate files and profitability updates.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications - Level 3
Master's degree with 3 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 5 years in business, finance, accounting, program control or related fields.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience supporting a monthly financial forecasting rhythm.
Experience with EAC development and analysis; MPM and/or Cobra; Earned Value Management (EVM).
Active DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access to start.
Basic Qualifications - Level 4
Master's degree with 6 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 8 years in related fields.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience supporting a monthly financial forecasting rhythm.
Experience with EAC development and analysis; MPM and/or Cobra; Earned Value Management (EVM).
Active DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access to start.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing CDRLs (IPMR/IPMDAR/CPR/CFSR/CSDR).
Compensation and Benefits Salary ranges depend on location and are aligned with company geographic salary bands. Primary Level Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $147,100.00; Secondary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $170,300.00. Specific offer will reflect experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long-term incentives where applicable. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, holidays, and PTO.
