Director, Financial Operations

As we expand, we’re hiring a Director of Financial Operations to build and lead the financial backbone of our platform—focusing on integration, systems, and scalable execution. Role Overview This role is ideal for a finance operator who excels in fast-paced, acquisition-heavy environments. You’ll lead post-close integration, unify financial processes across entities, and build systems that scale with growth. This is not a back-office role—it's a strategic, execution-heavy seat at the table. Key Responsibilities: Own the post-acquisition integration playbook for finance and accounting operations. Standardize chart of accounts, reporting timelines, and close procedures across all entities. Oversee onboarding of acquired entities into core systems and processes. Lead the implementation and scaling of ERP/accounting systems. Drive process automation across payables, receivables, reconciliations, and reporting. Ensure data consistency and control as the organization grows in complexity. Operational Finance & Controls Establish scalable workflows for payables, receivables, payroll coordination, and inner-company activity. Implement and refine internal controls across decentralized entities. Manage key operational metrics: working capital, cash flow visibility, integration timelines. Reporting & Performance Tracking Support consolidated reporting by aligning entity-level processes and data inputs. Build dashboards and KPIs to track financial performance, integration progress, and synergies. Partner with CFO and FP&A on forecasting and budget integration. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership Build and manage a lean financial operations team. Serve as a central liaison between finance, tech, legal, and acquired agency leaders. Drive accountability and operational discipline across the organization. What You Bring 7+ years of experience in finance or operations, ideally in high-growth or acquisitive environments Experience integrating acquired companies, building processes from scratch, and scaling financial operations Familiarity with multi-entity accounting systems and data flows (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.) Process-driven mindset with strong project management skills Excellent communication skills and comfort operating cross-functionally Ready to help build the future of insurance?
