Now Hiring: Senior Accountant - Corporate Accounting & Consolidations
Location: Howell, NJ | Duration: 6 months
Base pay range $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr
Responsibilities
Lead the consolidation process for corporate entities, preparing financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with
US GAAP
and/or
IFRS
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
Collaborate with business owners to ensure accurate accruals and financial reporting
Analyze financial data, identify variances, trends, and provide actionable insights
Assist external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
Review and document internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities
Contribute to cash management strategy, including initiating wires and account transfers
Support budget and forecast preparation, as well as ad hoc accounting research
Record consolidation journal entries, reconciliations, and oversee vendor invoice processing
Participate in special projects and other corporate accounting initiatives as needed
Qualifications
3-5 years of accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (required)
Public accounting experience and/or CPA designation preferred
Experience in REIT accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting required
Strong understanding of
US GAAP
and
IFRS
accounting principles
Excellent communication skills; able to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
Experience with MRI, Yardi, or other commercial real estate accounting systems
Highly organized, able to thrive in a dynamic environment, and work independently
