Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage client bookkeeping and assist with payroll and compliance tasks. This role involves direct client interaction, multiple monthly and quarterly deadlines, and requires strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities Full‑cycle bookkeeping: bank/credit card reconciliations, accounts payable & receivable, general ledger maintenance in QuickBooks
Assist with payroll processing and related filings (Forms 941, 940, W‑2, etc.)
Prepare monthly sales tax returns and payroll tax deposits
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely compliance with tax deadlines
Communicate with clients to collect necessary information and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications 2+ years bookkeeping experience (CPA firm or small business environment preferred)
Payroll processing and payroll tax compliance experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
English required; Spanish a plus
Schedule & Pay In‑office position (Miami Lakes)
Full‑time or part‑time considered
