The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the full AR cycle including billing, cash application, and collections. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to build positive relationships with customers while maintaining firm collection practices. The ideal candidate will combine accuracy in accounting with a proactive approach to resolving payment issues and improving cash flow performance.

Responsibilities

Generate and process accurate customer invoices in accordance with contract terms

Record and apply incoming payments, ensuring timely and accurate posting

Monitor aging reports and manage collections to minimize past‑due balances

Contact customers regarding delinquent accounts and negotiate payment arrangements

Research and resolve billing discrepancies and short payments

Prepare account reconciliations and support month‑end close processes

Partner with finance and sales teams to improve billing accuracy and collection efficiency

Qualifications

3+ years of accounts receivable and collections experience

Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar

Strong Excel and reporting skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Proven ability to manage high‑volume accounts and meet collection targets

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
