Customer Consultant - Budtender – Part Time

Green Rose was established in 2021, with our flagship store opening in River North in November 2022, and our second location in Lincolnwood in 2023. Role Overview:
Customer Consultants/Budtenders (CC) assist customers by providing one-on-one consultations on product selection, based on a deep understanding of our offerings. They work closely with management and team members to stay updated on new products and communicate effectively to ensure excellent customer service. CCs are trusted advisors on cannabis products, their profiles, and routes of administration. They handle sales, ensure accurate record-keeping, and uphold compliance standards. The role involves operational duties, including handling money, managing codes, and maintaining store flow and service quality. Key Responsibilities: Greet and check in customers Engage with customers to understand wellness needs and recommend products Assess customer needs through relevant questions Promote a culture of compliance Participate in ongoing education about products Maintain store cleanliness and organization Perform sales transactions adhering to compliance and regulatory measures Build and maintain customer rapport professionally Adapt to various roles and manage time effectively under pressure Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years in hospitality, cannabis, or retail Strong communication skills Accountability and decision-making abilities Attention to detail and organizational skills Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED Pass a background check Must be 21+ years old Valid license or state ID Compliance with city and state regulations Ability to stand/walk for extended periods Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays Willingness to travel if necessary Core Values: The 5 “C’s” of Green Rose Retail: Customer Service:
