- Customer Consultants/Budtenders (CC) will be responsible for assisting customers and offering one-on-one consultations on product selection based on a deep understanding of the dispensary’s product offerings. These positions work closely with the General Manager/Assistant General Manager and all departments to stay competent with new products and ensure fluid, professional communication. CCs become trusted advisors about cannabis products, their profiles, and routes of administration. After consultation, the CC will complete sales according to company policies, with accurate recording in the POS and state verification system. The role includes front-line customer interactions, product knowledge, and basic back-end operational duties. Responsibilities include handling money, managing codes, maintaining smooth traffic, and delivering excellent service. Additional duties may be assigned by management. Responsibilities included but not limited to: Greet and check in all customers Immediately engage with customers to understand wellness needs while recommending products Assess individual customer needs by asking proper, relevant questions to determine what products to recommend Adhere to and promote a culture of compliance Continued education and training to further knowledge of all products Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of store, including front and back-end operations and products Perform sales transactions including cash handling, using POS systems, and complying with all regulatory measures Maintain customer rapport and professionalism Train and adapt to all roles Manage time and respect protocols under pressure and in fast-paced environments Other duties as assigned Position Qualifications: 2+ years in hospitality, cannabis, or retail fields Consistent and clear communication on all levels Accountability at all levels and for others Balanced decision making Eyes-Up Mentality Practical and proactive actions/thinking Attention to detail and organized leadership in all workspaces Position Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Must pass a background check Must be 21 years of age Must possess a valid license or state ID Must remain compliant with all city and state regulations Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods Must be able to work opening, closing, and weekend shifts as needed Willingness to be flexible – travel is at times necessary Green Rose Core Values: Customer Service – Provide the best in class “Cannabis Experience” for everyone we encounter Compliance – Pro-active and steadfast to ensure practices are above standard; becoming a true cannabis expert Compassion – Compassionate cannabis practices that responsibly excel and unite us Communication – Clear communication that dissolves questions and cultivates environments of diversity Cultivate Your Green Rose
