Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant (Mid Level) with 2–3 years of accounting and supervisory experience. You will support the Client Finance Services Division in ensuring accurate financial data, maintaining general ledger integrity, preparing reports, and assisting in monthly closing processes. This role provides broad exposure to financial reporting, tax compliance, internal controls, and process improvement for our clients. You will oversee, guide, and support accounting interns in their daily tasks to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely completion of accounting work. This role focuses on mentorship, training, and quality control while acting as a bridge between interns and senior accounting staff. Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable Reconciliations & Closing Reporting & Compliance Expense Management Process Improvements & Collaboration Preparing budgets and forecasts. Identify inefficiencies; suggest and help implement process improvements. Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned. Manage a team of Accounting Interns Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, e.g., CPA(K) or ACCA. 2–3 years of practical accounting experience (internship + full-time acceptable). Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles (e.g., accruals, ledgers, reconciliations); exposure to U.S. GAAP preferred. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online Accountant) required; familiarity with ERP/accounting systems is a plus. Intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas). Strong organizational, mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly, learn continuously, and take ownership of responsibilities. Experience leading a team of Accountants Experience in a tech-enabled, fast-paced, and startup environment. Exposure to multi-currency or international accounting. What You’ll Gain
