This role involves leading cost accounting activities and providing insights that drive business decisions. Responsibilities
Lead cost accounting activities for production operations, including setting and maintaining standard costs, inventory valuation, and cost-collection controls. Prepare monthly close entries: WIP valuation, inventory reconciliations, reserves, variance analysis, and production reporting. Deliver clear internal reporting on revenue, costs, variances, and gross margin performance. Support annual audits, SOX/internal control testing, and process improvements. Partner with Finance and Operations leadership to build models, forecasts, and ad-hoc analyses for business decisions and capital planning. Contribute to ERP/reporting enhancements and other projects aimed at streamlining cost and inventory workflows. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5–10+ years of progressive cost analysis or manufacturing accounting experience. Required Skills
Advanced Excel skills (heavy reporting & modeling). Experience with SAP or another large ERP (preferred). Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, confident working with leadership and cross-functional partners. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with internal controls, inventory audits, and standard costing best practices. Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP or another large ERP (preferred). Pay range and compensation package
