Overview

We are a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry dedicated to helping individuals overcome addiction, rebuild family relationships, and reintegrate into society with hope and purpose. Our work includes a 12-month residential rehabilitation program, transitional housing, and ongoing recovery support centered in Christ.

Position Overview

The Development & Fundraising Manager will play a central role in sustaining and growing the mission by leading donor development, overseeing fundraising activities, identifying grant opportunities, and securing vital resources. Working closely with the Executive Director, this position includes donor engagement, event coordination, and grant writing. The role follows a hybrid schedule: three days remote and two days in-office, with performance-based incentives.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Donor Development

Build, manage, and deepen relationships with donors.

Arrange donor meetings and presentations in collaboration with the Executive Director.

Oversee donor communications, acknowledgments, and follow-up efforts.

Events & Campaigns

Plan and manage fundraising events (banquets, golf tournaments, vision breakfasts, etc.).

Collaborate with staff and volunteers to deliver successful events.

Design creative fundraising strategies to expand donor reach.

Grants & Proposals

Research, prepare, and submit grant applications.

Manage compliance, reporting deadlines, and funding requirements.

Cultivate connections with foundations and granting entities.

Marketing & Outreach

Contribute to newsletters, donor reports, and impact updates.

Maintain accurate donor records in the database.

Represent the organization at networking and community events.

Administrative & Reporting

Provide regular progress updates to the Executive Director and board committees.

Track fundraising performance metrics and goals.

Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all donor and organizational interactions.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or grant writing.

Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed fundraising goals.

Strong event planning and donor relationship-building skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively.

Proficiency in donor management systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.

Personal faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with the ministry’s mission and values.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $60,000 annually

Performance Bonus: Year-end incentive based on fundraising results

Medical Stipend: $1,000 annually

Paid Time Off: Two weeks vacation plus additional PTO

Hybrid Schedule: Three days remote / two days in-office
