Role Description The
Development & Fundraising Director
will lead RPTA’s fundraising, grant, and partnership strategies to ensure the financial sustainability and growth of our programs. This
contractual, on-site position in Minneapolis, MN
offers
$28–$35 per hour, depending on experience , with a flexible Monday–Friday schedule. The role involves managing donor relationships, overseeing annual giving and sponsorship campaigns, writing proposals to potential new donors, and executing engaging fundraising events. The Director will work closely with the executive team to align funding priorities with RPTA’s mission and values, helping expand our community impact through strategic development initiatives.
Qualifications
Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development within a nonprofit setting
Strong skills in communication, storytelling, and strategic planning
Demonstrated success in managing donor or sponsor relationships
Experience writing proposals and overseeing fundraising campaigns or events
Excellent leadership, organization, and collaboration abilities
Familiarity with donor management systems or CRM software
Bachelor’s degree in
Nonprofit Management, Communications, Business, or related field
(or equivalent experience)
