Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) This Ground Control Intercept (GCI) Controller will provide Red Team support to the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) during simulator test mission execution, as well as be responsible for pre-mission planning and post-mission reporting.
Responsibilities will also include test planning and generation of mission test cards. Location will be at the 422nd TES, Nellis AFB, NV. Responsibilities As a GCI Controller May Include Serve as GCI Controller for Red Simulated Threat Support for the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) and Next Gen Threat System (NGTS) team. Supports development of JSE Test Plans and Test Cards for event execution. Supports daily communications with JSE customers/SME's, JSE Development Team representatives, and supporting sub-contractors. Support/Lead post-mission debrief including operation of mission debrief systems. Assist a software development team in developing an advanced synthetic training environment to support military technology, tactics, and training. Conduct general subject matter research, analysis, correlation, and assessments. Participate in software test activities. Required 8 – 10 years of military experience with electronic systems, communications, radars with knowledge of operational characteristics of each Maturity and professionalism to lead the execution of a flight test missions, briefings and interface with a team of discipline engineers in Mission Control Room. Work well in a team environment as well as independently. Experience generating post flight mission reports and other detailed formal reports. Position requires willingness to accept changing and evolving roles & responsibilities in support of customers’ requirements and need. Desired 3 – 4 years’ experience with F-35 or F-22 systems and operations with a focus on Aggressor tactics. Prior experience supporting Model and Simulation efforts. Prior experience performing software testing. Prior flight simulator operations experience. Experience supporting Special Access Program (SAP) efforts. Education Requirements Graduate of a military Air Intercept Control school or Air Weapons Control school High school graduate or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree desired. Clearance Requirements Active Secret clearance is acceptable to start. Ability to attain Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and special program access is required.
