Description
As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will: Always provide the highest quality of service to the customer. Supervise up to 16 Room Care Attendants. Deal promptly and effectively with guest complaints and requests. Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to ensure cleanliness standards. Conduct ongoing training for housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Promote teamwork and boost employee morale. Assist in running pre-shift meetings, distribute keys and assignments, and ensure grooming standards are met. Communicate policies and procedures related to housekeeping and cleaning projects. Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen rooms, laundry, lost & found, storage rooms, employee break rooms, and carts. Ensure all rooms are ready daily and maintain key control. Ensure guest satisfaction through cleanliness and attentive service. After demonstrating ability to handle increased workload, clean additional guest rooms for extra pay. Check fixtures, electronics, and HVAC systems for proper operation. Set heating/cooling and radio to correct settings. Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report issues. Perform daily cleaning duties, including changing linens and shower curtains. Log cleaned rooms daily. Fold linens and towels while waiting for rooms to be ready. Operate laundry equipment and maintain cleanliness of public areas. Wear proper uniform at all times as per appearance standards. Be familiar with emergency procedures.
