The Role The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a Football Coach. In this role, you will work closely with the Physical Education Teams. Ashton on Mersey School is in the central hub of The Dean Trust and serves the community of Sale and beyond.

This exciting opportunity will suit a candidate who has the following qualities, knowledge and skills:
UEFA B Licence or FA level 2
Valid Emergency First Aid in Football
Previous experience of coaching young players to a high standard
Full UK driving licence
Experience of coaching or teaching young people in a school, club or community setting
Experience of monitoring and evaluating impact of sessions and programmes
Knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding legislation
Can use ICT effectively to support learning
Strong written and presentation skills
Excellent communications skills across multiple levels, with parents or guardians and players
To be able to work effectively with pupils, staff, parents and members of the community
Willingness to participate in further training and development opportunities
Ability to work constructively as part of a team and independently
Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing with children and adults
