Creates a welcoming, playful, and thoughtful service environment. Responsible for the cleanliness, arrangement, and supply of guest rooms according to the preferred standards in each assigned room. Duties and Responsibilities SKILLS: We are looking for those who celebrate culture, humor, wit, thoughtful and attentive service, and team orientation. Strive to continuously evolve and improve your performance in order to provide a Four Diamond level of service for all guests each and every day. Prior housekeeping and chemical experience preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NEVER LIMITED TO: Represent the hotel in a positive manner at all times. Clean and return vacant dirty guest rooms to vacant ready condition. Clean and return occupied dirty guest rooms to an occupied clean condition. Tidy guest rooms as requested and required by hotel standards. Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions. Report any material or supply discrepancies to housekeeping supervisor. Report any maintenance or repair issues to housekeeping supervisor immediately to prevent any inconvenience to our guest's experience. Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart and linen closet. Respond to guest requests or inquiries immediately. Return all lost and found items to housekeeping immediately. Assume all responsibilities as delegated by the manager and do any or all other duties that may be required to fulfill customer needs and requests. Exemplify the hotel's Standard Code of Conduct and all other regulations established by management and Employee Handbook. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand for an entire shift, and navigate stairways when necessary. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull. Ability to push a heavy cart loaded with supplies. Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds or more. Ability to tolerate moderate temperature changes in the building. Ability to handle repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to communicate in the primary language of the hotel. Must wear proper uniform/dress at all times and be well-groomed. Must maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate hotel business and networking functions. Regular and reliable attendance.
