CCA is seeking a Senior Paralegal to work with USAO attorneys in the Criminal and Civil Units. Responsibilities include litigation support tasks such as preparing and filing documents, organizing legal documents, redacting privileged information, conducting research, assisting with witness interviews, depositions, trial preparation, and in-court support. Provide legal assistance and technical support, including handling legal documents and processes related to USAO activities. Manage case materials, identify deficiencies, and coordinate investigations. Serve as a contact for case status and procedural issues. Organize and index discovery and evidence exhibits for trial, collaborating with attorneys to ensure efficiency. Assist with e-discovery platforms and document review systems. Prepare legal documents, exhibits, and witnesses for court proceedings. Coordinate and prepare trial exhibits, including visual materials. Maintain exhibit accounting systems and prepare related documentation. Support courtroom presentations with litigation software and tools. Perform administrative duties, including data searches, case file management, and calendar maintenance. Ensure timely case progress and maintain accessible case files. Draft legal correspondence and documents, including subpoenas and notices. Maintain court and AUSA calendars, schedule court-related activities. Respond to inquiries and refer complex questions appropriately. Qualifications:
Paralegal certificate, JD, or legal training/experience equivalent; or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year completed. Minimum two years litigation paralegal experience. At least one year experience with automated litigation support. Knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and tools like Lexis and Westlaw. Proficiency with computer applications including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and imaging systems. Familiarity with ESI tools and eDiscovery procedures. Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure. US Citizenship and ability to obtain DOJ MBI clearance. What You Can Expect:

This position is covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards. The minimum hourly wage is $25.27, with compensation influenced by location, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
