Assistant Coach Cross Country

Duties will include assisting in managing all aspects of the sport program, including coaching, budgeting, and recruiting, while fully supporting the athletic department’s philosophy of training student-athletes to be Christ-centered leaders through athletics.

Assist the Head Coach with duties as assigned, including: Training session planning and supervision Fundraising support Spiritual Requirements

Personal Qualities
– Ability to identify personal strengths, weaknesses, skills, and limitations, and utilize this understanding effectively. Desire to grow spiritually and professionally Ability to foster a Christian professional atmosphere in all relationships Spirit of cooperation and willingness to serve as a team Professional appearance Spiritual Abilities
– Evidence of a desire to grow in grace and knowledge of Christ, demonstrated through prayer, Bible study, and church involvement. Commitment to ministry and encouraging others in their spiritual growth Skills and Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in a Health Services-related field; Master’s preferred Highly organized, motivated, and energetic Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong initiative and commitment to the mission, equity, and diversity Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years related experience preferred. The University
