Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries Director of Youth and Young Adult ministries is needed by a medium size United Methodist church in the Brookhaven area of Atlanta.

This loving congregation is excited about the growth and direction of the youth and young adult ministries and is excited to find a full time partner for the position of Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries.

Responsibilities

Planning curriculum and events for both youth and young adults that support the church’s focus on mission work and studying scripture in a way helpful to life

Motivating and organizing parents and volunteers

Developing authentic relationships with youth, young adults and others in the church

Communicating programs and growth opportunities on a weekly basis and collaborating with our Director of Church Communications

Collaborating with Director of Children’s Ministries, Director of Activities Ministries and Director of Music, Associate and Senior pastors as well as church leaders on worship and evangelistic efforts

Leading social events and Bible studies and small groups as needed
