Overview
Full Time Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries in a medium size United Methodist church in the Brookhaven area of Atlanta. This loving congregation is excited about the growth and direction of the youth and young adult ministries and is seeking a full-time partner for the position. Responsibilities
Planning curriculum and events for both youth and young adults that support the church’s focus on mission work and studying scripture in a way helpful to life. Motivating and organizing parents and volunteers. Developing authentic relationships with youth, young adults and others in the church. Communicating programs and growth opportunities on a weekly basis and collaborating with the Director of Church Communications. Collaborating with the Director of Children’s Ministries, Director of Activities Ministries and Director of Music, Associate and Senior pastors as well as church leaders on worship and evangelistic efforts. Leading social events and Bible studies and small groups as needed. Qualifications
Experience leading youth programs. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Strong organizational skills. Musical background is a plus. Social media savvy. How to apply
