The Officer is responsible for protecting life and property within the Nashville International Airport's (BNA) jurisdiction. Responsibilities include recognizing and reporting unsafe conditions, operating Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicles, including firefighting mechanisms, and managing vehicular and pedestrian traffic control. Qualifications
Required:
US Citizen, meeting the rules of the Tennessee Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission Valid Class D driver's license Uncertified:
High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of successful work experience, defined as: Positive reviews of work performance from employers No negative terminations Multiple employers accepted if above criteria are met or continuous full-time employment averaging 30+ hours/week High school diploma/equivalent with certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in TN or nationally recognized certification High school diploma/equivalent with two (2) years of military experience and an honorable discharge. Note: Military experience requires an honorable discharge regardless of other qualifications. Location
