Summary: The Housekeeper will perform the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the community. The person in this position will ensure the community is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current and existing federal and state regulations and established company policy and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Clean/polish furnishing, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident apartments and recreational areas daily as instructed Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways Maintain appearance of housekeeping areas in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner Perform assigned day-to-day housekeeping functions Perform specific tasks

in accordance with

daily work assignments and

established

housekeeping procedures Work Environment: Works in all areas of the facility Moves intermittently during working hours Is subject to frequent interruptions Is involved with residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., under all conditions and circumstances Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members,

etc Communicates with the medical staff, nursing staff, and other department supervisors Works beyond normal duty hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary Is

subject to call back during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.) Attends and

participates

in continuing educational programs Is subject to injury from falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc., throughout the workday, as well as reactions from dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoke, and other air contaminants Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including TB and the AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals

Qualifications: One-year experience in a health care facility (preferred) Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as Colorado CAPS background check. COVID Vaccine Required or Valid Exemption. Able to work on holidays (we pay double up to 8 hours of work)
