Job Title: Commercial Service Electrician Location: Las Vegas, NV Compensation: $27–$33/hour (DOE) Employment Type: Full-Time About Master Electric Master Electric is a full-service electrical contractor proudly serving Las Vegas for over 30 years. We specialize in commercial, industrial, and healthcare facility projects. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. Position Summary The Journeyman Electrician will perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance for a variety of commercial projects. You will work under the direction of a Foreman or Service Manager and may mentor apprentices as part of your role. We're seeking professionals who take pride in quality work, understand the importance of safety, and are team players. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial environments Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Ensure all work is performed to code (NEC and local) Perform conduit bending, panel installations, lighting systems, switchgear, and service upgrades Troubleshoot systems and identify solutions quickly and effectively Maintain clean and organized job sites Complete job documentation accurately and on time Mentor and support apprentices as needed Follow safety protocols and report any hazards Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Nevada or reciprocal state) 2+ years of experience in commercial electrical work Strong understanding of NEC and local codes Ability to read construction drawings and perform layout independently Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Must pass a background check, profile testing, and drug test Strong work ethic and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience working in medical or healthcare facilities OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification English language skills required and Spanish language skills are a plus 3-5 year experience, minimum What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: $27–$33/hr based on experience Medical insurance Paid vacation and holidays Steady, year-round work Positive team atmosphere with opportunities for growth If you're an electrician who takes pride in high-quality work and wants to be part of a respected and growing team, we want to hear from you!
