Do you have a passion for Agile practices and a talent for helping teams excel? As a Scrum Master II at Safety National, you'll be a vital part of our Agile transformation. You will guide a software development team in applying the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), helping ensure that the team delivers high-quality, transparent solutions aligned with enterprise goals. Your responsibilities will include sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, performance reporting, and maintaining team documentation. If you're an organized, servant-leader with a passion for continuous improvement, this is your chance to make a significant impact within a collaborative and fast-moving environment. Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or an appropriate combination of education and experience. Required Qualifications:
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. 1 or more years of experience in a Scrum Master role Familiarity with software development Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts Strong communication and servant leadership skills Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities Organizational skills and attention to detail Working knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Preferred Qualifications:
SAFe Scrum Master certification Experience working in Agile development environments with Kanban and Jira Strong understanding of PI planning, backlog refinement, and user story lifecycle Experience in coaching teams on Agile performance metrics like Velocity and Say/Do ratios Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and technology assets against unauthorized disclosure, destruction and/or alteration, in accordance with Safety National policies, standards, and procedures. The target base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $97,500. Safety National is committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-based compensation.
