Role Description As the company’s Scrum Master II at Safety National, you’ll be a vital part of our Agile transformation. You will guide a software development team in applying the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), helping ensure that the team delivers high-quality, transparent solutions aligned with enterprise goals. In this role, you’ll coach team members, manage sprint timelines, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and proactively identify and resolve impediments. You’ll partner with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and Agile Delivery leadership to ensure alignment with program increments and team objectives. Your responsibilities will include sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, performance reporting, and maintaining team documentation. Qualifications Education:

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or an appropriate combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications:

This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.

1 or more years of experience in a Scrum Master role

Familiarity with software development

Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts

Strong communication and servant leadership skills

Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities

Organizational skills and attention to detail

Working knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Preferred Qualifications:

SAFe Scrum Master certification

Experience working in Agile development environments with Kanban and Jira

Strong understanding of PI planning, backlog refinement, and user story lifecycle

Experience in coaching teams on Agile performance metrics like Velocity and Say/Do ratios
